The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chief Samuel Ogbuku,  has briefed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the proposed 70.75 km  Omadino - Escravos Road in Delta State as well as the progress made in completing other  key legacy projects across the Niger Delta region.

Speaking after a meeting with the President at the State House in Abuja, Ogbuku reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to translating the Renewed Hope Agenda into tangible and measurable outcomes, noting that the achievements recorded were made possible through the continued support of President Tinubu.

He highlighted several completed projects, including the 650-bed Niger Delta University hostel complex in Amassoma, Bayelsa State, and the electrification project in Oron, Akwa Ibom State. He noted that the new hostel will enhance student welfare by providing improved accommodation, reducing stress, and boosting academic productivity.

Other key projects include the Kaa–Ataba Road and Bridge, the Niger Delta Regional Specialist Hospital in Rivers State and road projects in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State.
